Job Location: Madisonville, Kentucky. Madisonville Community College is centrally located along the I-69 corridor in beautiful rural Western Kentucky, with easy access to Evansville, Indiana; Owensboro; Hopkinsville; and Nashville, Tennessee.
The college's Allied Health Division is seeking an innovative and dedicated professional to serve as full-time instructor for EMT and Paramedic program courses.
Advise and teach students, serve on appropriate college committees/college service initiatives, maintain office hours, and participate in community service activities.
To be or become proficient in multiple delivery methods including face-to-face day and evening, hybrid, and online course modalities.
Deliver EMT/Paramedic program instruction in the Madisonville and Hopkinsville areas in collaboration with Hopkinsville Community College, will travel to multiple campuses or teaching sites.
Possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills. MCC's Paramedic Program is accredited by CoAEMSP.
Possess excellent computer, communication and presentation skills.
Position Minimum Requirements:
Appropriate degree or certificate for licensure as AEMT or Paramedic Initial with current ACLS and PALS certification and Level II or Level III Instructor through KBEMS. The successful candidate must seek Level III Instructor
Position Preferred Requirements:
Associate Degree in paramedic, previous collegiate teaching experience and Level III Instructor through KBEMS.
