The Coordinator of Internship, Accreditation and Outreach will assist Program Directors with accreditation services and compile program outcomes reports. Serve as Department liaison to HPHS admissions recruiters, to University admissions personnel and Centralized Application Systems administrators to monitor graduate student applications.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
â€¢Assists Program Directors to create and maintain accreditation and outcomes assessment databases and guides. â€¢Assists Program Directors with annual program outcomes data collection, synthesis, and reporting. â€¢Develops data collection instruments/surveys. â€¢Assists with the organization of supporting materials and appendices for accreditation reports and self-studies. â€¢Assists Program Directors and Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs to organize schedule and events associated with site visits from accrediting agencies. â€¢Enters annual outcomes assessment reports into Campus Labs on behalf of Program Directors. â€¢Tracks student employment post-graduation for the purpose of collecting employment data and the submission to employer satisfaction surveys. Collects employer contact information and disseminates, collects and analyzes survey data for use with accreditation outcomes reports. â€¢Assists Program Directors with approval of clinical/internship site affiliation agreements and contracts. Serves as liaison to University business affairs/legal personal. Tracks contract expiration dates and initiates contract renewals. â€¢Maintains spreadsheet associated with required clinical/internship site documents required for student maintenance and program accreditation, such as, but not limited to; student field supervisorsâ€™ resumes, professional certifications and state licenses, clinical site equipment lists and verification of calibration/annual inspection, emergency action plans and blood borne pathogen exposure plans. Communicates directly with clinical/internship site to update documents annually. Prepares student field placement reports, as required for accreditation. â€¢Secures and monitors professional liability insurance policy required for student field placement associated with Athletic Training, Exercise Science and Occupational Therapy programs. â€¢Assists with pre-internship and internship placement, including the identification and development of relationships with local, state and national agencies/organizations, governmental and voluntary health agencies, professional associations, hospitals and medical care services to administer a purposeful field work program. â€¢Assists Program Directors with development, revision and publication of program specific student and student-supervisor policy and procedure manuals. â€¢Assists Program Directors with organization and implementation of student and student-supervisor orientation programs, continuing supervisor training programs, student and student-supervisor learning seminars. â€¢Assists Program Directors and faculty with department and/or program sponsored conferences, seminars and other professional development events. Coordinates inter-professional educational events. â€¢Serves as liaison to community to identify inter-professional student service opportunities and coordinate community service events.
This is an onsite position; work for this role is performed on campus. The usual schedule for this position is Monday â€" Friday, 9:00am â€" 5:00pm. This position is currently working 4 days on alternating weeks.
