The Transporter 1 position is part of a highly productive, flexible team capable of collaborating with other work units to provide our customers with an outstanding environment in which to work.
The Transporter will provide cleaning services, and other duties as assigned to the university. Individuals in this position may perform work independently through assignments and demonstrate efficient use of time by following written and verbal direction including other means to achieve department goals. The Transporter must have attention to detail, a passion for cleaning and the ability to maintain a positive rapport with customers. OHSU is committed to sustainable practices; the custodian will perform green cleaning practices and provide feedback to analyze effectiveness.
High School or GED Equivalent
Related job experience demonstrating work ethic and team work
6 months of professional driving experience using vehicles such as sedans, vans, and box trucks.
General cleaning knowledge.
Basic computer skills: Ability to run a computer, navigate the OS interface and use Microsoft Outlook.
Working knowledge of and ability to speak, understand, read and write basic English.
Valid Oregon or Washington Drivers License
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
