Harvard Allston Land Company (HALC) oversees the planning and development of the Harvard University's Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) in Allston. The vision for the ERC is to become a center for innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship, bringing together partners from across Greater Boston and beyond.
HALC seeks a dedicated, talented, resourceful, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Associate Planning and Development Project Manager. Reporting to the Director of Planning and Design, the Associate Planning and Development Project Manager provides administrative and project support to the Harvard Allston Land Company planning, design, and real estate development efforts.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Support internal and external planning and development project efforts, meetings, and coordination with consultants, including preparing materials, documenting decisions, and monitoring status and next steps.
Create, edit, and distribute briefings, PowerPoint presentations, memos, and meeting preparatory material.
Manage complex scheduling and documentation for the HALC Design Review process.
Assist in the coordination of permitting efforts for the project, including coordinating review of permitting documents and presentations.
Assist with meetings planning and logistics.
Compile and coordinate materials for executive presentations and edit content.
Perform content research, collect data, synthesize findings, and prepare reports and maps/graphics.
Support internal project process and various working groups; manage coordination amongst internal and external collaborators.
Develop and manage process timeliness and various project schedules; update and convert master development schedule components.
Handle administrative functions such as meeting scheduling and coordination, contracts, invoice and reimbursement processing, meeting documentation/minutes, record keeping, updating internal systems, coordinating events, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidates MUST meet the following basic qualifications in order to be considered for this role:
BA/BS in related fields required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a related field, advanced education may count towards years of experience.
Expertise in a range of computer software tools, including MS Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
Advanced degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field desired.
Experience with project management tools (i.e Microsoft Project) or Gantt charts.
Demonstrated experience working with multiple internal and external constituencies.
Ability to work within the context of a complex and dynamic organization and independently as needed.
Enjoy working in a start-up-like environment, with the necessary ability to be nimble and flexible as work dictates.
