The Clinical Research Specialist I in the Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis and Neuro-immunology Programs will oversee patient enrollment, case report form completion, and collaborations with an external Data Coordinating and Analysis Center for several funded studies focused on pediatric multiple sclerosis and other neuro-inflammatory diseases including a nationwide registry as part of our work as a site in the United States Network of Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Centers (http://www.usnpmsc.org/index.html). The CRS I will also work closely with PIs as a site in clinical trials with responsibilities including coordinating with the sponsor and the BCH Clinical Trials Study Unit to create case report forms and orders, maintaining regulatory documents, scheduling visits, and entering data into study-specific databases. Key experience and skills include IRB applications, the study consent process, sample collection and shipping, and data management while staying organized and working closely with members of our Programs and external collaborators.
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's degree, and a minimum three years of relevant work experience or Masters of Science and one year of relevant work experience.
The analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data to solve problems.
Communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well-developed writing skills.
