The Business and Quality Assurance Analyst works with functional staff, fellow ITS analysts/programmers, and other stakeholders to design, test, and implement solutions in Ellucian Banner and associated application environments. In this process, the incumbent works with clients across business units to understand business requirements, implement applications, and ensure quality solutions are delivered to meet those needs which align with UNCG’s strategic goals. Works within a variety of software development lifecycles and project management approach to achieve goals.
Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related disciplines, or equivalent work experience in a business analyst and/or quality assurance analyst-equivalent role required.
Experience analyzing and effectively documenting complex business and technical requirements for ERP systems preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and/or with Google Docs and Box applications.
ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP like certification strongly desired.
Experience creating test plans and test cases for complex software projects. ERP
Experience with automated testing tools preferred.
Experience with SQL (Oracle) preferred.
Experience supporting Ellucian Banner ERP system preferred.
Experience working with Git version control system preferred.
Ability to interact with people from all disciplines with all levels of experience.
Experience at working both independently and collaboratively.
