Laboratory Aide
Position Summary The project involves microbiology, genomics, and plant research. The Laboratory Aide will be responsible for meeting the required project goals which involve cloning, Arabidopsis manipulation, seed sterilization, transformation, RNA, DNA extraction and phenotypic screening involving stress inducing chemicals. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge normally acquired from specialized training such as that acquired in one year of college, technical, vocational or trade school with coursework in basic Chemistry or Biology; up to six months of experience in a laboratory setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
