UT Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (UT SWORPS) is seeking a Manager of our Applied Research and Evaluation services. The position's primary responsibility is to manage the data collection and analysis services for approximately 20-30 applied research projects in UT SWORPS. The person in this role will also conduct these services and must be able to design and program surveys and conduct fundamental quantitative and qualitative data analysis using appropriate software applications, as well as have strong written report and presentation skills. This will collaborate with the other units in UT SWORPS to delegate work to staff to meet project deliverables in adherence with timelines and funder needs. They will further ensure compliance with regulatory and University policies. This position is responsible for management of our call center and supervision of the call center supervisor. This position will participate on UT SWORP's management team, which involves responsibilities such as assisting with strategic planning, and recruitment, training, and supervision of staff. Project management skills are critical to this role. This position will establish and maintain relationships with external partners to secure external funding, draft work plans to meet client needs, and ensure that project deliverables are met in a timely manner within budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience with project management and supervision and be able to use a range of quantitative and qualitative software, have knowledge of budget principles, state and federal funding limitations, uniform guidance, and grants and contracts.
