Summary of Duties:
This position serves as the Carson College of Business Enrollment Manager and reports directly to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. The Enrollment Manager works collaboratively with department chairs, administrative staff, and the Carson Center advising team to establish and implement strategies to streamline and increase efficiencies in course scheduling and the enrollment process within the Carson College. The incumbent will serve as the liaison between the Carson College, Central Administration and industry partners to implement change, recommend staffing needs and manage enrollment priorities for the College. The incumbent establishes and maintains effective and collaborative working relationships with faculty, staff, College and the broader University community. Responsibilities include gathering and evaluating enrollment data and trends; establishing business operations around enrollment, waitlists, reserve capacity setting and developing business processes that minimize enrollment bottleneck; evaluating and providing enrollment demands for undergraduate college courses; advising Department Chairs and Associate Deans on decisions regarding staffing of courses ; and coordinating the opening and closing of the Blue course evaluations and perform other data analysis and reporting during as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a related field AND two years experience conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, rules, or regulations or comparable combination of graduate education and experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated effectiveness in oral and written communication and time management.
Strong technical experience including work experience with Office 365 and databases/student records systems.
Experience with process improvement, with the goal of improving the overall student experience.
Experience with curriculum management, course scheduling, or advising.
Experience with student records system (e.g., PeopleSoft, Banner), including class scheduling, enrollment management, and waitlist functions.
Possess a strong customer service orientation and the desire and ability to provide friendly and flexible services that resolve concerns in a timely fashion in accordance with the appropriate processes and procedures.
Data mining experience.
A Master's degree in a related field.
Working knowledge of myWSU, 25Live and Schedule Builder.
Demonstrated ability to explain and/or interpret zone scheduling, university classroom scheduling processes and procedures, and academic regulations and policies.
Demonstrated ability to work with Chairs, Directors, advisors and students on improving experiences.
