The University of New Hampshire (UNH) at Manchester Library is seeking an afternoon/early evening, part-time adjunct faculty librarian to join our dynamic team and to assist with providing reference services and information literacy instruction throughout Academic Year 2021/22. The positionâs early evening hours are variable depending upon teaching schedules. The successful candidate will work all scheduled hours in person in the UNH Manchester Library. In Fall Semester 2021, the position is part-time, non-benefited, 24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from August 16th through December 10th. In Spring Semester 2022, the position is part-time, non-benefited, 24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, January 18th through May 13th. This position is renewable for subsequent academic semesters. The successful candidate will teach information literacy sessions in face-to-face classes and online; provide research assistance at the Learning Commons Help Desk and online; respond to email, phone, and virtual reference queries; and assist with training student Research Mentors. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of LibGuides, Kaltura videos, Canvas modules, and other instructional materials. This position also provides circulation support to student workers at the Help Desk. Review of applications to begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
