Duties of the position include: (1) Conduct molecular and structural virology research in the field of COVID-19 diagnostics and vaccine development; (2) Participate in design of projects, planning and executing experiments; (3) Collect and organize data for research activities; (4) Attend, participate, or present at laboratory meetings, seminars, graduate and undergraduate lectures, and conferences as needed; (5) Maintain frequent communication with collaborators, including, if required, traveling to destinations to meet with collaborators and collect data.
Required Qualifications: Applicants are expected to have completed a PhD degree and to have excellent molecular and structural biology skills, are familiar with structure and function of antibodies, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
