Antioch University New England invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty appointment to serve as the Director of the Antioch University Couple and Family Therapy Institute (AUCFTI), the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) for both the couple and family master’s and doctoral programs, and the supervisor of record for students working in the AUCFTI. This position provides clinical support to supervise internship students and will be responsible for coordinating clinical policies and procedures for both the AUCFTI and for internship experiences. The DCT works closely with administrative staff to direct student clinical placements and coordinates with the Program Directors on these issues. There is also a 12-hour teaching commitment for this position. Clinical faculty members are expected to have minimal service to the university and scholarship. This is a 12-month appointment, to begin July 1, 2021.
The MFT Programs at Antioch University New England have a focus on social justice and diversity issues. The master’s degree program has been accredited by COAMFTE since 1994 and the doctoral program was awarded initial accreditation in 2011. The Antioch Couple and Family Therapy Institute is our clinical practicum training center for first year master’s and doctoral students and provides supervision opportunities for second year doctoral students. The masters and doctoral education are delivered by a low residency model. Faculty engage with students both in-person at residencies and online throughout the remained of the semester. Faculty are expected to travel to residencies each semester. Antioch University New England master’s degree and doctoral student body are quite diverse, coming from international locations as well as from different regions of the United States. The MFT programs at AUNE are low-residency programs but there is an on-campus expectation for this position with the faculty member expected to live in the New England area close to campus.

Qualifications: PhD in Marriage/Couple and Family Therapy or in a closely related field (strongly prefer graduate of a COAMFTE-accredited program); AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Supervision Candidate, license-eligible in NH as an LMFT; graduate teaching experience; demonstrated administrative skills.
Preferred qualifications: Experience supervising student interns, administrative/leadership experience in a clinical setting, varied clinical experience; online or low-residency instruction experience.
