The University of Iowa College of Nursing seeks applicants with a strong foundation of teaching in an undergraduate pre-licensure program and incorporates active learning strategies. Instructional track faculty provide intensive teaching in classes and clinical practicums. This part-time (50% effort or greater) instructional track faculty position in the undergraduate program is a nine-month appointment. Teaching assignments are made by the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs in collaboration with the Interim Executive Associate Dean. Candidates from various cultural backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
Faculty positions for the undergraduate programs are available in the Adult Medical/Surgical Practicum area (2 clinical days/onsite). Areas of teaching expertise of particular interest include Adult/Medical-Surgical Nursing.
