PART TIME LECTURER, Judicial Writing, School of Law
Boston University School of Law is seeking a part-time lecturer for the spring semester of the 2021-22 academic year to teach the course on Judicial Writing. Applicants for the position must possess a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and at least two years practice experience. In addition, applicants must have had experience clerking for a state appeals court judge or a federal judge. The Judicial Writing class is a two or three credit course offered to second and third year students enrolled in the law school's J.D. Program. The course focuses on writing styles and formats unique to the judicial process, such as the bench memo and appellate majority and dissenting opinion.
