The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, is seeking to expand its research faculty. Research interests should complement strengths of existing faculty in retinal diseases, and enable the faculty to expand into oncological studies to facilitate the growth and development of an ocular oncology focus. Candidates for this faculty position should have a strong record of scholarly activity with evidence of initial research funding success. Candidates at higher ranks should have a strong, well-funded eye research program with qualifications appropriate to appointment level. This PhD position involves seeking additional grants from a variety of sources, as well as training residents in research procedures and protocols.
