We are seeking adjunct instructors to teach distance learning and face-to-face courses in the Respiratory Therapy Program. This position is needed for the Fall 2021 semester, which begins August 23, 2021. Position Opening Lab Instructor: RTH 110-Fundamental Theory and Procedures for Respiratory Care. Scheduled for Thursday's from 7:00-5:00 pm on the Downtown Campus.
Applicants are required to hold an AAS or AS in Respiratory Therapy, the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, and a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine. Two (2) years of recent clinical experience is also required. Demonstrated ability to conduct student assessments for all course competencies. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to utilize basic computer applications such as email, scanning, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students. Selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college's pre-employment security screening.
