The Research Technician performs micro-computed tomography scans and image analysis.
Maintains the facility's equipment. Perform back-ups and archiving of the image data. Order supplies for the facility.
Trains new users on the facility equipment and provide technical consultation on the use of the facility.
Carry out data reduction and statistical analyses, maintain complete records of work.
Assists the Facility Director with communicating and enforcing the facility's policies.
Bachelor's degree required, and it is highly desirable that the degree is in an engineering- or science-related field.
1 year of related experience in a research lab or at least one year worth of lab coursework
Previous laboratory experience in science and/or engineering is required.
Excellent communication skills are required.
