Performs associate audio acquisition and mixing. Duties include studio, single and multi-camera EFP audio acquisition, remote A-1, remote A-2, audio only field recording, sound reinforcement mixing, and basic non-linear audio editing.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Audio or Electronic media production or related field plus two years combined professional or educational experience; equivalent education/experience considered. This position requires knowledge of audio theory and practice with an ability to utilize industry-standard procedures and techniques. The utilization of critical listening skills and awareness of audio aesthetics and stylistic conventions is emphasized. Required skills include: Experience with various audio equipment, such as different types of microphones, audio mixers and recorders, and editing software. Familiar with various mic placement techniques, including fish pole operation. Proficient in the operation and creative application of non-linear audio finishing systems and multi-track recording and mixing. Basic knowledge of maintaining commonly used audio equipment. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Communicates and understands specific instructions, and effectively listens to suggestions written and verbal.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree. Two years relevant experience with audio/video production for multi-camera studio or remote, and/or single camera efp shooting and editing. Experience in any of the following is highly preferred: Pro Tools DAW; working as an A2 for remote production; podcast production.
