The Department of Integrated Information Technology, College of Engineering and Computing, University of South Carolina, invites applications for a Department Academic Services Coordinator. This is a 12-month position reporting to the Department Chair. The candidate selected for this position will have primary responsibility for providing academic advising, recruitment, retention, and support for graduate and undergraduate programs. The primary purpose is on facilitating the engagement and academic progression of both graduate and undergraduate students. The position collaborates closely with other department, college, and university personnel with corresponding responsibilities. Duties include undergraduate advising, undergraduate student monitoring and academic intervention, graduate program recruitment and student advising, graduate and undergraduate program coordination and analytics, and liaison to College Student Services, Graduate School, and other university student services. The Integrated Information Technology Department offers a bachelor of science (BS) in Integrated Information Technology (IIT), a Master of Health Information Technology, and a PhD in Informatics. Offices are located in the Bert Story Innovation Center at 550 Assembly Street.

Masters degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
