Danville Community College invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach Health Sciences classes in various areas. We are seeking applicants available for on-campus, online, and clinical instruction for daytime and/or evenings and/or weekends. Salary is based on the academic preparation and work experience of the applicant and is determined according to the VCCS Adjunct Pay Schedule. Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom/virtual/clinical environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. Adjunct instructor positions available for various areas in the Health Sciences Division.
Baccalaureate degree with a major in Nursing earned from a nationally accredited college or university and a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Virginia are required. A minimum of two (2) years of full-time employment in nursing or its equivalent within the past five (5) years. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college's pre-employment security screening.
