Under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment Services, the incumbent will coordinate and facilitate outreach to new and current students who are parents to support their timely degree completion. The P/T Student-Parent Navigator will function as part of a collaborative interdivisional team to coordinate the SUNY grant-funded Family Empowerment Program through the lens of Enrollment Services. The P/T Student-Parent Navigator will support enrollment and ensure the delivery of holistic student support services for students who are parents. This role will include coordinating an orientation for student-parents; tracking student-parent success metrics; and contributing knowledge about family-friendly campus strategies and effective approaches to support the enrollment and success of student-parents.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $34.60/hour. No benefits. This position is fully grant funded.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience in the field of education, educational administration, recruitment and/or training, or in the analysis of program operations, marketing or customer services required. The successful candidate must possess excellent written and oral communications skills; and an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized. They must also have a proactive nature; exceptional judgement; and a collegial and team-oriented temperament. Proficiency in software systems including Microsoft Office applications is required. The ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information; a strong student-centered orientation; and an ability to work with a team of diverse faculty, staff and students is essential.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience working with Starfish case management software and/or with parenting students is preferred.
