The Physics Department at Syracuse University is soliciting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of experimental particle physics.
The department has a strong group of faculty working in high-energy physics, with expertise in both theoretical and experimental research. We are seeking candidates with research interests that would complement the existing Syracuse efforts on the DUNE and SBN neutrino experiments at Fermilab where we are involved with hardware and analysis projects, or on the LHCb experiment at CERN where we are engaged in a rich physics analysis program in flavor physics and are starting to work on the next upgrade while completing our contribution to Upgrade I.
