Assist with ground landscaping and maintenance, i.e., lawn mowing and edging, weed whacking, hedge trimming, raking, pruning, digging, planting, light tree work.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
Must have the ability to safely operate landscaping equipment (i.e., lawnmower and hedge trimmer)
Ability to work a flexible schedule, inclement weather, weekend and holiday hours, depending on the demands of the position
Experience with landscaping equipment.
Program Delivery - 90%
As delegated by the Landscape Supervisor or Livestock Manager, assist with ground maintenance and clean up.
Coordination/Operation - 5%
Facilities Support (5%)
Assist other staff with farm chores as needed.
Professional Improvement - 5%
Prepare for and actively participate in staff training and meetings.
Participate in staff evaluation processes as instructed.
Collaborate in activities that are in general support of Cornell Cooperative Extension and perform other duties as assigned.
Health and Safety - Applied to all duties and functions.
Support the Association to maintain a safe living and working environment.
Be familiar with and strive to follow any applicable federal, state, local regulations, Association health and safety policy/procedure/requirement and standard.
Act proactively to prevent accidents/injuries and communicate hazards to supervisors when identified.
