The Division of Geriatrics and Internal Medicine is seeking a Senior Research Assistant that will serve as a Research Coordinator for a range of research projects addressing substance use disorders at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).
The Study Coordinator will participate in implementation of evaluation and research studies, including randomized clinical trials. The successful candidate will take an active role in the development and implementation of studies by assisting in the development of the Standardize Operating Procedures, may serve as a trainer for the upcoming national trainings associated with the trials, may assist in development of electronic data collection systems and may provide daily supervision over front line data collection teams.
In addition, the position assists the PI and Director of Protocol Implementation with the day-to-day communication, administrative and programmatic aspects of conducting substance abuse and mental health treatment research in single and multi-site settings. Ideal candidate will have a broad skill set expanding from organizing and taking meeting notes, to coordinating stakeholders in developing relationships to implement clinical trials. This position will assist with grant applications and dissemination activities.
Bachelors Degree with major courses in the field of research AND 1-3 years of related experience
Experience in project management, quality assurance
Experience with Institutional Review Boards
Experience using REDCap
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Masters degree in Public Health, Social Science, or a Certified Clinical Research Associate
