Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Responsibilities will include conducting pre-clinical research studies in molecular oncology. This position offers the opportunity for a talented scientist to work with competitive cancer research team.
Perform experiments in vitro and in vivo (80%)
Prepare abstract, manuscript for publication and written reports of research and grant proposals (20%)
All required qualifications must be documented on application material
BS/BA degree in Cancer Biology or Cell Biology or Molecular Biology or related field with previous experience in Cancer Research; or a combination of related work experience and education to equal four years
Strong understanding of scientific concepts and experience in translational research and cell culture experience in translational medicine is preferred
Ability to work effectively on multiple oncology programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques, transient and stable transfection, cell counting and viability assays,qPCR, WB, Multiplex ELISA/PCR are expected
Prior experience on cell culture/migration and invasion studies
