Job Description Summary: Adjunct instructor teaches courses within the welding curriculum. Classes will be day or evening at the Niles, Michigan, campus and may include MIG, TIG, or Stick welding. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach materials in an engaging and interactive manner to students.
Teach courses during the hours outlined for the course.
Grade homework, quizzes, tests, final exams, and student labs.
Document grades in Learning Management System (Moodle)
Perform final outcomes assessment with course leader.

Required Qualifications: Associates Degree in welding technology or journeyman card Minimum 3 years proven welding experience
Preferred Qualifications: CWI Teaching Experience
Other Information: All applicants must demonstrate the ability to promote active and collaborative learning through a variety of teaching methods, as well as relate to students. Excellent organization and communication skills as well as the demonstrated use of instructional technology are required.
