This position will have direct responsibility for assigned resident and non-resident recruitment markets. This includes, but is not limited to, UNL's participation in high school visits and college fairs; coordinate recruitment travel policies and procedures; admissions counselor training; supervision of four to six professional staff; and community and counseling relations. The position also analyzes data and ensures that goals are met; takes action consistent with this analysis and provides recommendations on recruitment strategies; interprets recruitment policies and exercises authority and independent judgment in making recruitment decisions on a case-by-case basis. This role will provide leadership for the entire admissions team and may focus on certain areas of the office to ensure strategic priorities are met. Travel, night, and weekend hours are required. This position is located in Lincoln, NE.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus three years of relevant recruitment experience required. Marketing, sales, recruitment, or related experience is essential. Familiarity with high school and college relations operations and procedures is necessary. Must have public speaking, event planning and supervisory experience. Experience with Talisma or another client relationship system (CRM) required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary. Must have demonstrated ability to relate well with all populations and the proven ability to work independently and with little or no supervision or clerical support. Demonstrated ability make data-driven decisions is required. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Experience with non-resident recruitment preferred. High-ability and/or diversity recruitment experience desirable. Knowledge of UNL and the state of Nebraska and its challenges among under-represented populations beneficial. Familiarity with UNL's high school and college relations operations and procedures helpful. Knowledge of UNL's University Honors Programs desirable.
