The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking non-tenure-stream adjunct faculty and lecturers in the Department of English. We encourage applications from people qualified to teach face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online courses in the following areas: composition studies; creative writing; critical and literary theory; developmental English and first-year writing; English language and literature; rhetoric; technical writing and professional communication; and writing/digital authorship.

For adjunct faculty positions, we would prefer applicants with an MA, MFA, or PhD in English or a closely related field, but we would consider applicants with a minimum of 18 hours of relevant graduate-level coursework in English or a closely related field.
For lecturer positions, we require an MA in English or a closely related field and strongly prefer a PhD or MFA in English or a closely related field.
