Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Project Coordinator I the Center for Prevention Science within the School of Social Work. Under the direction of the Principal Investigators, the Project Coordinator I supports and coordinates daily activities, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time. Primarily, this Project Coordinator I will spend their effort on a state funded grant, the Opioid Overdose Recovery Program (OORP) Evaluation.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Provides administrative and logistical support.
Prepares literature reviews.
Interfaces with stakeholders of the project to ensure a productive and collaborative environment.
Conducts quantitative and qualitative data collection and management, working with a wide variety of individuals and organizations, including state agencies, healthcare providers, and research team members.
Develops and implements surveys, manages research protocols, develops timelines, tracks and assesses deliverable progress, and ensures timely and accurate flow of information.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, human services or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of two (2) years related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project coordination skills.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and IBMSPSS software.
Experience in project coordination, evaluation, data collection and analysis, writing reports, and coordination with stakeholders.
Administrative experience with the ability to build relationships.
Master's degree in social work, public health, public administration, or related discipline.
A minimum of least two (2) years of project coordination experience.
Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and IBMSPSS software.
