The Office for Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavor (URaCE) is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join the Oiffice for URaCE team!
The Office for Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavor (URaCE) is committed to broadening undergraduate research experiences for all students regardless of background, discipline, or year of study. Our programs and initiatives aim to foster a robust research culture that involves the entire UTC community, while also contributing to the local environs of Chattanooga, and creating dialogues with the wider global community.
This position will provide administrative support related to office functions.
Responsibilities include scheduling meetings and events, preparing meeting materials, providing administrative support for scheduled meetings as necessary, arranging travel, maintaining calendars, and other duties as assigned.
Provide administrative support for office events, and related student activities.
Assist with reconciling credit card receivables, and process deposits for department programs
Assist with student travel arrangements.
Assist with payroll processes.
Provide administrative support for Office for URaCE programming and initiatives.
Create word processing, excel spreadsheet, and other documents as assigned.
Assist Office for URaCE staff with special assignments such as marketing initiatives, and campus events.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Advanced knowledge with Banner, Taleo,SharePoint and Iris preferred
High Proficiency with MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced computer skills; advanced data analysis skills; and event planning experience.

Hours per Week: 29 hours per week
