Improves existing technological infrastructure while working towards expansion of computing operations as a whole, consistent support relating various technology needs and requirements for internal and external entities, and provides support for day-to-day requests.
Develops and coordinates projects and initiatives, addressing issues and requests on behalf of IMSI leadership.
Maximizes up-time for all technological equipment to minimize disruptions and increase overall productivity.
Oversees and coordinates all IT initiatives and projects.
Ensures communication tools are functional and creates secondary support systems in the event of equipment failure.
Assists and responds to all queries, questions, concerns, and requests on behalf of entire user-base.
Analyzes computing systems, processes and controls to ensure that all operations are efficient and functional.
Drives special projects including operational improvement initiatives.
Establishes and manages existing vendor relationships.
Maintains industry standards and stays abreast of new software, solutions, releases, and product enhancements.
Guides a variety of IT support activities for end-user hardware/software resolution, and guides end-users through troubleshooting procedures. Uses fundamental knowledge of University software systems to recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
Provides technical guidance in setup, installation, and configuration of desktop hardware and software in compliance with internal controls, policies, and standards.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum seven years of computer user support experience in resolving issues and providing a high level of service.
Background regarding data management and proper protocols / procedures.
Knowledge of professional IT practices with experience in data privacy and security.
Working knowledge with setup and maintenance of digital signage solutions.
Proficient in creating and maintaining local and cloud servers.
Skillful in audio/visual systems related to conferencing solutions.
