The Gift Accounting Operations Associate will act as a point of contact to research and resolve inquiries and requests submitted by donors, financial institutions, and campus partners.Â Managing departmental correspondence, including gift receipting, acknowledgements and donor pledge will contribute to donor stewardship and satisfaction.Â Serving in a support role as an auditor of daily gift entry, transaction details will be reviewed for accuracy and approval for commitment to the database.Â During high-volume periods, the Operations Associate will be accountable for the preparation, review, processing, and reporting of donor data from multiple sources both inside and outside the University.
Bachelorâ™s degree, at least 2 years of related experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills and detail-orientation.
Experience with CRM systems is desired; preference for experience with Blackbaud CRM or Raiserâ™s Edge.
Advancement or Higher Ed experience desired.
Experience, understanding and command of procedural work in reference to databases and quality control.
Strong organizational, planning and analysis skills, creative problem solver.
Tact, flexibility, discretion persistence, ability to learn, and a strong customer service attitude.
Proficient with using Microsoft Office and information management systems.
Strong commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the Division of Advancement.
Excellent customer service experience and skills.
Ability to balance multiple priorities with the ability to work effectively both independently and as a productive member of a team.
