The Milieu Counselor will be responsible for:
Providing psychiatric care for patients ages 10-17 years
Managing safe and therapeutic milieu
Participating in individualized treatment planning and implementation of plans.
Utilizing interpersonal skills to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships.
Facilitating group therapies.
Working as a team player and functioning as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
20 hours, rotating days/evenings and every other weekend with occasional nights.
To qualify, you must have:
Previous experience with children/adolescents with psychiatric, emotional and educational challenges.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
