The Faculty of Arts and Sciences Registrar's Office (FAS RO) supports the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Harvard College, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Duties & Responsibilities: The Enrollment Services Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for Enrollment Services constituents including students, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Office of Undergraduate Education, the Office of Academic Integrity and Student Conduct, Advising Programs Office, Program in General Education, and academic departments for all College and GSAS student related issues. The Coordinator supports Enrollment Services by assisting colleagues in student registration and course enrollment, billing, Administrative Board and Honor Council data entry, Dissertation Review, processing of student forms, updating student status and other registrarial functions as needed. This positions reports to the Assistant Registrar for Enrollment Services
During the current period of Covid-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote position, with transition to onsite in Cambridge when the office reopens. We continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 and lifting of restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility with our interview process. 3 to 5 years experience in a Registrar's office or higher education administration
Bachelors degree preferred; Excellent organizational skills with particular ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests; Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; Demonstrated ability to work effectively both in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision; Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion; Strong background using Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Access and Outlook); Commitment to high standard of customer service; Creative problem solving ability. Experience developing reports with database reporting software (e.g. Hyperion, Crystal, Brio, or InfoMaker, etc.); Experience using student information systems; Experience using relational databases.
