Postdoctoral position in magnetized multi-ion transport in plasmaA postdoctoral or more senior researcher is sought in the Department of Astrophysical Sciences at Princeton University. The researcher will participate in theoretical and computational studies in the area of magnetized or partially magnetized multi-ion transport in plasma. The successful applicants will have a recent PhD in theoretical and computational plasma physics. A strong background in fluid dynamics and in the statistical properties of plasma will be valuable. Familiarity with the multi-ion transport MITNS code will be advantageous.The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, depending on funds and performance. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience. The start date is negotiable.
