Memorial Sloan's main campus is looking for a Dispatcher in Environmental Services. The Dispatcher dispatches environmental service aides to respond to service requests and ensures standards are met.This staff member will ensure that all inpatient care areas (inpatient, periop, UCC/CDU) areas are assigned the Environmental Services staff.

Modify areas assignments based on expected discharge volumes by area Dispatches and monitors the automatic dispatching of Environmental Services Aides to respond to service requests for inpatient, periop, and UCC/CDU areas
Follow-up with staff when excessive delay is noted and decide appropriate course of action
Ensure equitable distribution of workload by matching expected service requests with adequate staff resources Monitors and determine reasons for delays and suspensions
Notify supervisor of any concerns between Environmental Services staff and other staffing on the in-patient floors Responds to customers complaints or problems and escalate / report to management staff.
Report to management staff any client concerns or complaints.
Prepare daily dispatcher assignment sheet for bed cleaning response team.
Utilize bed tracking queries/reports to analyze and report performance
Excellent communication skills
Ability to utilize work order entry system and applications
Ability to operate standard office equipment
1 year dispatching / administrative experience preferred
Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10pm. With weekend rotation
