Make a difference in Imaging
As a full time night shift Radiologic Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will contribute to our quality care by producing diagnostic images utilizing a variety of radiographic equipment, including fixed/mobile radiographic equipment, C-Arms and fluoroscopic. You will perform radiographic procedures on neonate, children, adults, and geriatric patients.
Duties include: Patient education prior to the examination Preparation of supplies and equipment set up Helping perform sterile technique procedures Following established quality assurance procedures Maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality Assisting with OR and procedure center as needed This position involves rotating within our various radiology locations.
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
Current CRT, CRT-Fluoro, ARRT and BLS certification
Recent graduate or one year of experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing, decision making and multi-tasking skills
Understanding of medical terminology and medical diagnoses
Flexibility and the ability to perform under stressful situations
Ability to identify and recognize contraindications for exams
Knowledge of clinical billing
Physical ability to lift 30 lbs for distances of 10 feet
Frequent standing and sitting
