The Department of Biology at Hobart and William Smith Colleges invites applications for a one-year position of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2021. This is a full-time position with a teaching load of five course equivalents per year. Teaching responsibilities include a topics-based introductory biology course and 200- and/or 300-level courses with laboratory sections. The courses will be based on the candidate's area of expertise. We desire candidates with experience with and/or interest in working in a multicultural environment and encouraging excellence from students with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
