Oversee game / event and parking operations for selected athletic events, or non-athletic events conducted in athletic department venues as assigned. Provide guidance and leadership for all game day operations and events. Manage individual athletic program day budget, and serve as a liaison to game day operational entities including, but not limited to, visiting teams, coaches, officials, table crews, event services, athletic grounds, information technology, athletic training, TV setup crew, athletic ticket office, disability management, ambulance, university special events, law enforcement/security and parking and traffic. Provide on-site direction and consultation in the starting and/or cessation or postponement of outdoor events in the case of inclement weather or other unforeseeable emergency situations. Responsible for crowd control, which could result in the removal of a fan or spectator from the playing venue. Evaluate game day plan logistics, and recommend / develop plans for improvement of future game day operations. Assist in making procedural and policy recommendations to improve operational efficiency. Develop operational and visiting team guides for selected sports. Provide guidance to lower level Event Services specialists.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public administration, or a related field and two years of experience in events, hospitality, or a related field.
Combinations of education and related experience may be considered.

Master's degree. Four or more years of game/event management experience in collegiate or professional athletics.
