Specific duties and criteria for Pediatric Cardiology Assistant or Associate Professor position (rank commensurate with experience and accomplishments):
Candidate must be board certified in Pediatric Cardiology
Candidate must have special expertise and training in the area of pediatric electrophysiology (invasive and non-invasive).Â
Provide leadership as director of the electrophysiology program.
Expertise in performing a complete spectrum of pediatric electrophysiology procedures to include catheter ablation therapy and pacemaker/device placement and management.Â
Cardiology inpatient and outpatient attending responsibilities
Development of key relationships with team members, surgeons and consultants to maintain excellent care
Develop and implement safety improvement in patient care
Expand pediatric and cardiology knowledge, investigate literature and generate clinical study results.
