Illinois Institute of Technology Chemistry Faculty Position
The Illinois Institute of Technology Department of Chemistry invites applications from outstanding candidates to fill a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in the areas of Biological Chemistry or Materials Chemistry starting Fall 2021. A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a highly related field is required.
The successful candidate is expected to develop a vigorous, innovative, and externally funded research program and to effectively teach graduate and undergraduate courses. The Department of Chemistry at Illinois Tech recently launched 5 new Chemistry Programs in specialized and interdisciplinary areas (https://www.iit.edu/chemistry). Candidates with teaching interest in analytical chemistry or other courses related to the new chemistry majors are strongly encouraged to apply.
