The Voice Analyst III shall be responsible for:
Analyzing customer requirements for voice services and develop appropriate voice solutions for customers and for internally generated projects.
Preparing design specifications and technical documentation for existing systems and for proposed architectural changes to the voice systems.
Developing architecture plans for voice services and prepare appropriate budgets and specifications for projects.
Coordinating with technicians and analysts to perform installations, upgrades and migrations of various voice technology solutions.
Monitoring efficient working of complex and multifaceted communications projects.
Performing research and developing new communications technologies. Evaluating the capabilities and work of support suppliers and service providers.
Monitoring work performed by voice analysts, technicians and vendors to ensure compliance with all infrastructure standards and polices.
Coordinating with vendors, analyze appropriate product offering and develop new products and services. Developing RFPs and project requirements. Evaluating bids/proposals and recommend appropriate products and services.
Collaborating with internal staff and suppliers to develop product integration strategies.
Performing capacity analysis on trunk and overall system utilization. Develop solutions to ensure the appropriate level of capacity and high availability for our voice systems.
Assisting management with all high priority projects and prepare technical presentations.
Performing advanced troubleshooting support of all voice services as needed, including times that are outside of normal working hours. Interacting with vendor support resources and initiate escalations when needed to ensure the 24x7 operation of our voice systems.
Monitoring the security of our voice systems and develop new technologies to ensure the security of these systems.
In order to qualify you must have:
B.A./B.S in a technical field related to communications or computer networking
Minimum of 7 year's experience in a Telecommunications Engineering or Analysis role.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex problems.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to create effective documentation using Visio and other graphical documentation tools.
