The Yale Center for the Study of Representative Institutions, in conjunction with the Jack Miller Center, seeks to appoint one Postdoctoral Associate in the History of Representative Institutions for AY 2021-2022. Areas of specialization include any aspect of the theory and practice of representative government from the seventeenth-century to the present.Â Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. by the time of appointment.
The Postdoctoral Associate will teach two courses during the year, one per semester, pursue their own research, and participate in the activities of the program. Scholars are expected to be in residence from August 2021 to May 2022. Compensation is competitive, and includes benefits and health coverage.
