The Yale Center for Analytic Sciences (YCAS), a center within the Department of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Public Health is seeking an outstanding biostatistics postdoctoral associate. This individual will split his/her time between (1) working on challenging methodological problems in the realm of pragmatic clinical trials, including methods for designing and analyzing cluster randomized studies with complex time-to-event data structures, methods for designing trials that incorporate patient preference, and methods for subgroup detection in cluster randomized trials; and (2) getting hands on experience as a collaborative biostatistician, including writing statistical analysis sections for grants and conducting analyses for ongoing projects.
YCAS has over 20 full time faculty and staff members, with another 20 affiliates from across the Yale campus. The center conducts over 500 consultations and submits over 100 grants a year. There will be no shortage of opportunities to collaborate and learn, as well as get involved in real world methodological advancement.
