The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine seeks to fill a junior faculty position within the Section of EMS whom will assume the role as Assistant EMS Medical Director. The Section is responsible for medical oversight of the regional EMS system including 27 individual EMS agencies and also staffs the state's only certified EMS physician response team, providing direct physician response to the field. The Section also oversees our ACGME-accredited EMS fellowship program. The successful candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited EMS fellowship and be board certified or board eligible in EMS. He or she should have a passion for prehospital care and EMS education and would be expected to be involved in EMS oversight, fellowship education, and scholarly activity to advance the science and practice of emergency medicine and EMS.
