The Department of Neurology at Yale University is accepting applications for a full-time neurologist specializing in Vascular Neurology. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent, be board certified or board eligible, and meet requirements for appointment at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor.
The essential duties for this position include: 1) providing acute stroke evaluations for patients at Yale New Haven Hospital, 2) providing inpatient care to the dedicated stroke service at Yale New Haven Hospital, 3) providing specialized stroke clinics through Yale Medicine, 4) providing acute stroke evaluations through the Yale New Haven Telestroke Program, 5) teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, and 6) participating in clinical research activities and collaborating on research projects.
