The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine seeks a licensed clinical psychologist to provide expert clinical services within the Adult Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Intensive Outpatient Program and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program of the Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.
The position carries a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychiatry, and includes participation in the Departmentâ€™s APA-accredited Doctoral Psychology Internship Program.
This position includes the provision direct clinical care to patients, and support and supervision to doctoral psychology interns and practicum students.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional knowledge and skills in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and will have expertise in treating individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, group therapy, the provision of clinical supervision to doctoral level interns, and a strong interest in teaching and clinical research.
Strong candidates will also possess expertise in the provision of other evidence-based treatments (such as CBT, ACT, PE) for depression, anxiety, and PTSD, as well as experience with adolescents. Strong candidates should also have interest and experience in measurement based care, and experience providing clinical supervision to psychology interns and/or practicum students.Â
