Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching responsibilities will involve didactic and clinical training for veterinary professional students, graduate students, house officers and veterinary medical technology students enrolled in the academic program. Service responsibilities involve clinical case management, secondary emergency duty, and consultation with private practitioners. The criticalist will be expected to enhance the quality of patient care and teaching in ICU, improve the quality of the AHC Emergency Service, and consult with our affiliated clinics to improve patient care. Participation in research projects and continuing education programs is also expected.
Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree. Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care is required. Teaching experience is preferred.
