Two postdoctoral or research faculty positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Xiongbin Lu at Indiana University Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Indiana University School of Medicine. The candidates will participate in NCI-funded translational research programs to identify drug targets for cancer immunotherapy and precision therapy using bioinformatic and experimental approaches. Candidates are required to have hands-on experience in cell biology, molecular biology, mouse tumor models, and/or immunology. Experience in cancer biology is not a must. The Lu laboratory has a great track of record in postdoctoral career planning and transition to independence. Three postdoctoral fellows received the NIH Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00) and seven past trainees are now independent investigators in the US or other nations.
