Rutgers – New Brunswick Office of Summer and Winter Sessions seeks to hire course developers for their 2021 Pre-College Summer Academy Programs.
Potential candidates would develop non-credit courses that provide learning opportunities for high school students through Pre-College Summer Programs. This position will be responsible for the design and development of course programming and materials for a variety of platforms including traditional classroom-based instruction, synchronous remote learning, asynchronous course work, and hybrid modality.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Research, analyze, and identify content for assigned program
Define instructional, learning and performance objectives and goals
Create course for programs based on assessment
Differentiate instructional content or delivery based on types of learners
Generate documentation and material for courses/workshops (e.g., syllabi, handouts, presentations, video, etc.)
Minimum Education and Experience:
Must have a Master's degree or higher and at least 2 years of teaching experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have direct subject matter knowledge in their particular field and with instructional course and content development.
Will require knowledge of multi-modality instructional tools (e.g., online, hybrid)
